About the Recipe
Place on a cutting board with grapes and toasted baguette slices with a few sprigs of fresh rosemary for a fancy appetizer, it will surely impress your guests!
Place in the center of a charcuterie board for the center of attention!
Ingredients
3 tbsp. any flavor of Cucina Di Nana homemade Fig Jam
¼ cup of each of your favorite nuts roughly chopped (walnuts, pistachios, almonds, or pecans – pick 2 or use 4 kinds of nuts at 2 tbsp. each)
¼ cup of dried mission figs sliced
13 oz. round French Brie
Preparation
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F
Combine nuts and sliced dried figs in a bowl
Add half the fig jam and mix well to coat the all the nuts
Place the brie in a small iron cast skillet or oven safe dish
Spread the remainder of jam on top of brie
Top the jam with the fig and nut mixture
Place brie skillet or dish on top of a baking sheet and bake for 10 minutes (until brie softens)
Remove from oven, let sit for 5 minutes, serve warm with baguette slices or crackers
